I agree with you on the representation part, but to disallow a president-elect his own day is above and beyond what I agree with. Sure, he’s to represent the nation as a whole, a nation which harbors different denominations, but he’s foremost representing his own (elected) person. I might not be a fan of President Obama, nor will I ever be of a Democrat, but he’s allowed such freedom to express his religion.

(You could’ve expected me to respond! / Still, well written article.)
