I felt that a fresh, sparkling and sizzling mix of colours and gradients could really do the site some good. The old design was a bit of an understatement really, with its heavenly white and dominating use of angel blue. Also, three days ago I finally finished my redesign of the Overkempe Studios homepage, and I thought it wise to follow that flow and to finally connect the two via the same design.

This redesign is the result of a half day’s work, so there might be some design flaws and minor bugs. For example, I personally feel the sidebar needs a hefty bout of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but for now it works. I also might abandon Georgia as font (*gasp* I know!), but that’s peripheral for the time being.
