Film ratings [1]

So, I’m finally getting around to watching films again, after a long hiatus in which I did watch a lot of television series regularly, but no films. So, to catch up on a lot of great masterpiece of cinematic art, I’ve officially marked this two-month vacation, “The Film Holiday”! (Cheesy, much?)

I have noticed that I tend to be a more critical than before, especially when it comes to the believability of a film. When I first started writing here, I wrote that I wanted to publish those critical views online, in the form of film ratings. And it’s true, there has been a link up there in the navigation menu for ages now, but no such critical list has been published.

To be fair, I still haven’t figured out an effective way of publishing that long list of film ratings, but I do have a bit of a compromise until I do. Every time I have watched ten films, I’ll publish them in a post, neatly presented in a table. The first bunch doesn’t quite represent my taste of films, so don’t judge me on the fact that I actually sat down to watch Another Gay Sequel. Just be glad that I gave it zero stars (it’s a disaster of a movie!).

So, without further ado, here are my ten most recently watched films.

There is no special meaning behind the way I have listed them, it’s simply done so because I watched The House Bunny first and Prince Caspian last. Oh, and four stars is not the maximum amount of stars — five is.

If you’re still confused, for example as to why 8.6 (Prince Caspian) is worth four stars, or if something else disturbs your fragile mind, here is the explanation of my film ratings system.

"Hey, I just wanted to — Wait. Where did the commenting form go?"

So, I stopped doing comments on my blog. Twitter, Facebook, and good-old e-mail do a much better job, in my experience and opinion.
