Cut off from the world (wide web)

If you hadn’t noticed, I have been without internet for a week now. We moved on the 25th and Royal KPN (Dutch former-national telecommunication company) was going to connect us to the “web” on the 28th — of course they didn’t, of course they are not going to do that until, and I’m not kidding, … the 28th of November. Yes. November. Like in, almost December. No internet for a month. Kill me, kill me now. (No, don’t. (No, do! (No, really, don’t.)))

So, what have I been doing all that time? Being incredibly pissed off, yes; boring myself to death by staring at the screen and trying to connect to the internet through telepathy, yes (well, no, but would’ve been cool if I would’ve succeeded); doing some writing, yes; still being incredibly disgruntled, YES!

In other words: don’t except any big updates till the end of November, I’m sorry. When I’m at the university I can use internet, sure, but considering I already have missed several deadlines of online assignments, I’ll probably be using that time on the internet for academic purposes only. Don’t hate me, hate the telecommunication company. Please, call them and yell. You can even say I put you up to it.

So, I stopped doing comments on my blog. Twitter, Facebook, and good-old e-mail do a much better job, in my experience and opinion.
