I said goodbye today to the country house I’ve lived in for over six years. Yes, it has provided me with a pleasant semi-childhood, though I guess growing up in a middle-of-nowhere agricultural area isn’t the best when you look non-native and are like different, as in gay.
Still, I felt comfortable in Creil. It was my home — my safe harbor from everything! Well, everything except for the evilness of Creil of course. Today I moved into a new home, temporarily though, until October when we move into the new-new house. Yes, whoopdiefreakingdo, I get to move not once, but twice.
I won’t have internet over here until Tuesday, when the phone company comes over and — well I don’t know exactly what they’ll be doing. Everything is already internet-ready over here, so I guess they’ll just be coming over for some tea, then leave to headquarters and switch on the internet access from there. Mighty big fun.
But what will I do until Tuesday? … Scrabble? I fucking hate Scrabble — I never see the words. Guess it’s a good opportunity to… work. Wow, that word freaked me out much! Of course not, I’ll just watch the first television season of “Dallas” till Tuesday. I’ve been wanting to finish that dvd box for ages now, this is the golden opportunity to do so. (See what I did? I upped the adjective, to make it look better than work. I’m such a genius.)
"Hey, I just wanted to — Wait. Where did the commenting form go?"
So, I stopped doing comments on my blog. Twitter, Facebook, and good-old e-mail do a much better job, in my experience and opinion.
